Course Criteria
- The course agenda will be sent via email prior to the start of the course. The face-to-face portion of the course spans 3 days. It is strongly recommended to review and read the manual before attending and answer to the questions in the theory exam that will be revise on day 3 of the course.
- Class sessions are organized into blocks with scheduled breaks and lunchtime.
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for the first session to prepare for the day and ensure a prompt start.
- Required materials for class include the provided Manual, Workbook, Journal, and Tote Bag. Additionally, bring your textbooks, writing instruments (pens), an extra notepad, a reformer mat, and slippers or socks (no outdoor shoes in the reformer space).
Graduation and Certification Requirements
To successfully graduate and receive certification, you must meet the following evaluation criteria:
1. Successfully complete Practicum Teaching exercises.
2. Achieve a minimum score of 80% on the Final Written Exam, comprising questions conducted during training or afterward via email, if time permits.
3. Complete and submit the observational and practical logbook required for sign-off.
We recognise that maintaining presence can be challenging, which is why we view it as a continuous practice. To effectively teach presence, we must first embody it ourselves. We encourage you to release distractions and fully engage in the Pilates experience moment by moment. This commitment lies at the heart of living your Pilates journey.
CEC Accreditation
· Register as a Fitness Pilates Instructor with AUSactive and earn 20 CECs. Different membership categories may claim affiliated education CECs. Refer to CEC Guidelines for eligibility details.
